Early production Painting explorations, for the ocean/sea sequence, working with Chocolate Tribe and Triggerfish on that early stage,
initially, for this exploration and study, I wanted to test the feel and look of the environment surrounded by water, what kind of visual guidelines we should develop, and how we can balance different levels of graphic signatures and shader work,
These are very early stages, but fun to develop.
we constantly need to consider, execution + timing within the pipeline, and find ways of practical ways of making things work.
this process not only serves us in the art dept but also provides strong guidance to other departments (modeling, Layout, animation) and assists them in the World-Building process. so we can simultaneously solve problems on the way.
